Artist Gillian Armitage works in a variety of media. For many years she was an avid printmaker - lithographer, etcher, wood-cutter and her work has been selected for some of the world’s most prestigious international graphic arts exhibitions. Today her artistic practice includes painting, printmaking, installation & sculpture.
Gillian’s work is developed in a series which may be added to over a number of years. She maintains that each body of work demands its own voice; for her there is no working formula to guide her creativity only a gut feeling of what is right and true.
